shutter speed
I used a shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second.I used 800 ISO and Day Light for the white balance. I froze the action of dropping it in front of the camera. I was very close to the subject (1 or 2 ft). I used a Tripod to keep my image very still.
I used an 8 second shutter speed,100 ISO and auto white balance. I used my phone light creating the streak of repetitive circles in the photo. I used a tripod to make the photo steady so i can make the strands of light.

painting light
My favorite photo is the 5th one because of the same patterns of the lights.
The shutter speed was set to 4 seconds.
Used the YN360.
Moving the light while the camera takes longer to take the picture.
It feels very simple and fun.

Aperture
The photo with the key board shows a shallow depth of field. My F-stop was at F4, ISO 400, and auto white balance.
The photo with the Purple light shows a larger depth of field. My F-stop was at F20, ISO 100, and auto white balance.
The key board one is better because in the purple light photo everything is more darker and a little hard to see the background.
You would want to use a shallow depth of field when the subject is up close, and use a larger depth of field when the subject is farther away.

Portrait
I choose the photo with the purple light. The purple lighting is very bright but not oppressive. The purple light is coming from YN360 and its on the right side of her face making the left side more bright. The photo is horizontal and the camera was to the left of her. I shot at eye level and I was like 4 feet away. The photo is more of head shot but some of her shoulder was in the photo and she's tilting her head to the right but looking at the camera. I think the photo emphasizes more on her eyes and she seems happy but serious. This photo is different compared to the one with brad because you can only see the left side of his face. But its similar because the left side is being more emphasized on both photos.

In this photo you can see the difference between the shadow and large depth of field. The light source I used was the light stick and I placed the car on top of it and put a city background on the Mac book. What I like about the photo it most is the contrast between the red car and the blue light
